Terms of Service
Last updated 21 August 2026 · These terms are between you and JMW Product Consulting, LLC, a California limited liability company. By using the site or buying a report, you agree to them.
1 · What the service is
FoundersPlinko operates Franchise Edge, software that reads a Franchise Disclosure Document and produces an analysis of the deal it describes — disclosed costs, the fee structure, debt-service coverage against a stated lender floor, system unit counts and turnover, and the franchisee contacts disclosed in the document. Figures cite the page of the source document they were taken from, so you can verify them yourself.
2 · What the service is not — read this one
We are not your lawyer, your accountant, your broker, or your financial adviser, and nothing we produce is legal, accounting, tax, investment, or franchise-brokerage advice. No attorney–client or fiduciary relationship is created by using this service.
A report is an informational analysis of a document you supplied. It is a starting point for your own diligence, not a substitute for it, and not a recommendation to buy or not buy any franchise. Before signing a franchise agreement or borrowing money, engage a qualified franchise attorney and an accountant.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any franchisor or franchise system whose disclosure document you analyze.
3 · Accuracy
The analysis combines automated extraction of figures from your document with deterministic calculations applied to those figures. Automated extraction can misread a document — particularly one that is scanned, unusual in structure, or internally inconsistent.
The report is only ever as accurate as the document you upload and the extraction of it. Where a figure cannot be read reliably, the report is designed to say so rather than estimate. Every figure cites its source page so you can check it against the original. You are responsible for verifying any figure you rely on.
We make no warranty that a report is complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular decision.
4 · Your account and conduct
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. You agree not to:
- upload documents you have no right to upload;
- use the service to break the law;
- attempt to breach, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service;
- resell or redistribute reports as your own product without a written agreement with us;
- or use output to make representations to third parties that the output does not support.
5 · Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and analyze your uploads solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your uploaded documents to train third-party AI models, and we do not disclose them to franchisors. See the Privacy Policy.
6 · Our content
The software, the site, the report format, and our trademarks are ours. Your report is yours to use for your own business decisions, including sharing it with your own attorney, accountant, lender, or business partners. Republishing it publicly or commercially requires our written permission.
7 · Payment and refunds
Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and charged through Stripe. Because a report is delivered digitally and immediately, sales are final once the report has been generated — except that if the report fails to generate, is materially incomplete, or contains a demonstrable extraction error, contact us and we will re-run it or refund it in full.
8 · Availability
We provide the service as-is and as-available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. We are a small operation and do not offer a guaranteed uptime commitment.
9 · Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
10 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or the outcome of any business, franchise, financing, or investment decision.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those places these limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.
11 · Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your uploads, or your breach of these terms.
12 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to venue there.
13 · Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change and material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
